What the customer wanted
Years of potholes and standing water on a 40-metre approach. The client needed something hard-wearing that would take delivery vehicles.
What we did
- Planed off the failed surface and regraded the base
- Installed new drainage to the low point of the drive
- Laid 60mm base course and 25mm wearing course, rolled hot
- Formed a widened turning head at the top of the drive
- Edged throughout in brindle block paving
The result
A smooth, well-drained approach that has taken two winters of heavy use without a mark.
