How much does a new driveway cost?
It depends on size, the surface you choose and how much groundwork is needed. As a rough guide, tarmac starts around £45/m², block paving around £65/m² and resin bound around £80/m² — all including excavation, base and waste removal. The only accurate number is a written quote after a site visit, which is always free.
How long will my driveway take?
A typical domestic driveway takes three to five working days. Larger projects, or ones that need drainage or level changes, may run to a week or more. We give you a realistic timeframe in the quote and tell you straight away if anything is likely to shift it.
Do you charge for quotes?
No. Site visits and written quotations are completely free, with no obligation and no pressure. You will get an itemised, fixed price — usually within 48 hours of the visit.
Are you insured, and is the work guaranteed?
Yes to both. We carry full public liability insurance, and every installation is backed by a written 10-year workmanship guarantee alongside the manufacturer warranty on the materials.
Do I need planning permission for a new driveway?
Usually not. Permission is generally only needed if you lay more than 5m² of impermeable surface without directing water to a border or soakaway. We design compliant drainage into every quote, so this is handled for you.
